Boston College '19

The former Tewaaraton Award winner helped lift Boston College's program to new levels

After a long wait, Sam Apuzzo is ready for her first world championship. A member of the training team for the 2015 U.S. U19 team, Apuzzo did not make the final roster for the team that competed in Scotland for a world championship. There's no more sitting out this time. Apuzzo made her debut with the senior team at the President's Cup in Florida in November 2018 and is ready to wear the red, white and blue.

A prolific scorer in high school at West Babylon (N.Y.) with 375 career goals, Apuzzo carried that scoring ability over to the collegiate game, finishing her career at Boston College with a school record 397 points, helping the Eagles reach three straight NCAA championship games.
