23 Molly Hendrick

2022 U.S. Women Roster

Lancaster, Pa.

Manheim Township

North Carolina '17

Molly Hendrick didn't grow up in a lacrosse hotbed, but she's held her own at every level.

Philadelphia is one of the traditional hotbeds of women's lacrosse. Lancaster, Pa., is a little over an hour from the Philly suburbs where the sport has thrived for generations, but Amish Country is a relative newcomer to the lacrosse scene. You wouldn't know that from watching Molly Hendrick play even though she didn't pick up a stick until she was 13 years old.

After scoring 432 goals at Manheim Township High School, including a staggering 179 as a senior, while twice earning USA Lacrosse All-America honors, Hendrick thrived at North Carolina. She was a two-time All-American with the Tar Heels and helped UNC win the 2016 national championship.

  • Made her debut with the U.S. national team at the 2019 Fall Classic, reuniting with her college coach, Jenny Levy
  • Two-time first team All-American at North Carolina, helping the Tar Heels win the 2016 national championship
  • Had a career-best 83 points, including 72 goals, as a senior in 2017
  • ACC Attacker of the Year (2017)
  • Scored 186 career goals despite missing half of her sophomore season with an injury
  • Played with the Fire in the WPLL
  • Volunteer assistant coach at Penn State in 2022. Had previously coached at Ohio State.
